What APNs (Access Point Names) are available?

M2M One NZ can provision SIM cards with the following APNs:

  • m2m – public APN that assigns your device a private dynamic IP address with direct internet access using NAT
  • m2mdirect – public APN that assigns your device a public internet facing dynamic IP (no NAT or Firewall)
  • m2mone.co.nz – private secure APN that assigns your device with a private static IP and purpose built M2M/IoT connectivity options available (known as our IPX, IPXGW, and IPXVPN services)
  • IPX, IPXGW, and IPXVPN details here

Tech Tip

The following AT command can be used to set or read the APN from your devices PDP context parameters:

AT+CGDCONT=<cid>[,<PDP_type>[,<APN>[,<PDP_addr>[,<d_comp>[,<h_comp>]]]]]

AT+CGDCONT?
+CGDCONT: <cid>,<PDP_type>,<APN>,<PDP_addr>,<d_comp>,<h_comp>
